Who are they and what do they want ???
Today Health secretary Andy Burnham said that Labour will scrap hospital parking charges for in-patients in England if they are elected again at the next election.
The issue is that both Wales and Scotland are both scrapping fees for everyone , but like with the university fee's it would appear that England is being left behind.
England is still a country within the Union and for some reason the Mp's just don't want it to have what the other countries have.
Is that really fair ?
The Sun newspaper announced today that they would not be supporting the labour party at the next election http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2661063/The-Sun-Says-Labours-lost-it.html
So they have lost the Sun newspaper who look as though they are backing the conservatives , but ultimately it will be the voters who decide who wins the election

Well, a week or so ago I ran an idea past the wife regarding my salary should I be elected as MP next year. We both agree if I am elected for the Enfield and Southgate, constituency, I will only take half my salary. This was initiated by Mr Davies when he took office as our Mayor of Doncaster.
Each month 50% of wages will be divided into two very good causes. One will be a local charity which will be voted for by local people and will change each year. The other I will re-invest back into the English Democrats. This could be used in a number of ways. For example, we may decide to set up an English charity which could help English businesses. Or we could designate funds to help university students. Alternatively, it could be used to fund a fledgling party member who wishes to stand in an election to supply them with promotional material etc.
This Idea has been welcomed by other candidates standing for us next year, who are all following suit.
Other news: At the Labour party conference Mr Brown has said they are committed to holding a referendum on a voting reform should they win the next election. (laughing now) I am sure that Tony Blair said something about holding a referendum on the Lisbon treaty didn’t they?
Elsewhere, Ireland is getting ready for its second vote on the Lisbon treaty. Since the last vote was ‘NO’ the EU has pumped millions of Euro's to the ‘yes’ campaign. They have warned the Irish that the only way out of the current financial climate is to vote ‘yes’. Let’s hope the Irish can see through this and vote ‘NO’ for a second time!
Before I go, I have been asked to supply a link to an England page not affiliated to the English Democrats. When I last looked it had about 212 members. The page discuses English issues so please take a look.

Good day to you all , Its a bit latter than I expected as I and my wife have been out posting leafltes again through more doors we will get people intrested in what we are doing and the more leaflets we post the more people will hear about us.
Announced today Stephen Morris will be standing in Salford and Eccles and also Bill Baker will be standing in the Castlepoint seat So the English Democrats are annoucing more candidates to stand at the next election.
Gordon Brown , he looks haggered and , he looks like he has had enough , will he use ill health as a reason to stand down before the next election so that the battering the labour party take isnt all on his shoulders , Tony Blair he must have known the country was going tits up way before he stepped down and looked for a patsy to take the fall.
Iran tested a long range missle today which is bad news for everybody , I did think diplomacy would be the order of the day butit would seam that it will not happen unless we are very lucky an d, it would appear that we will be sending our boys out the Iran along with the Americans , with or without the approval of the UN.
Else where the G20 policeman that pushed the man and he died of that heart attack ,well the CPS have decided they have enough evidence to charge him , maybe they should review the expenses cases again and see who they can charge with that , there must be loads of dodgy claims around there

Hello ,
It has been a while since I have posted on here.
But i am now going to try and make this a regular page.
Sad news today as yet another British soldier was killed in afganistan , So my condolences go out to his friends and his family.
We need to make sure that we either bring our soldiers home or we give them the best equipment there is so that they can do thier jobs , in the best way that they can otherwise why ask them to do a job if they have not got the best of everything.
This weekend has just seen the English Democrats conference taking place at the Thistle hotel in Dartford , near Brands Hatch which is where i went last night.
Myself and my wife met Peter Davies the English Democrats Mayor of Doncaster , who is a very nice man and very down to earth , he was not phased by being introdced to the many people who wanted to meet him.
There was also an awards event which was hosted by Robin Tillbrook the Chairman of the English Democrats.
