Yesterday , on a facebook page I had a minor exchange with the so called John Ryder . or Mr Rob depending on where you find him , he will use different names as he never uses his own.
This exchange happened on the Protest against Doncasters new mayor Peter Davies , He is really not that new anymore so they may consider changing the group page name.
The mayor is an English Democrat and the first day he took office he cut his own salary to £30,000 to save money , He has done other things to but this is not about him.
The people on the above mentioned page have been barred from the England - English Democrats page for varying reason and they take great delight on sitting and watching what goes on and clipping and pasting the comments and threads so they too can make comments about what is said and who says them.
There have been a number of posts in the last few months when a British soldier has died offering thier condolences on the EDP- England page and not once have the people from the Doncaster page clipped and pasted any of these and made a comment or not once have they offered thier respects to the dead soldiers family or friends I said something about this and got this reply.

Renfield, you are truly lower than a snake's belly.I do not offer my condolences to the family and friends of every British serviceman who dies for one simple reason - I do not know them. Being British, I do not engage in the overt displays of faux grief and patriotism that have become a ritual on your page.I do respect every British serviceman who goes into combat in the service of the Crown, whether they live, die or are wounded. Beyond giving money to the British Legion there is not a lot else I can do for them. What you term a mark of respect I term a useless gesture made to make yourselves look and feel good, which is very soon forgotten. There may be a few for whom this is indeed a genuine and meaningful act, and they I exclude from this description. That you bring this up as an attempt to score points makes me pretty certain that you are not one of these people Renfield
For some reason they have taken to calling me Renfield this was after they called me another name which I can not recall accusing me of posting under a different name.
He says he does not offer his condolences to the family and friends of every British serviceman who dies becuase he does not know them , Wootton Bassett do not know every soldier which comes home and passes through thier streets for which they line those streets and pay tribute to the dead soldiers , but they still do this and this is a mark of respect to the soldiers who have paid the ultimate price for serving thier country with thier lives.
It does not make me feel good to know these soldiers have died and I am always genuine in offering my condolences to the family and friends of these soldiers.
There can never be an attempt to score points when these so called points are from a person who has died for thier country.
I would much sooner not have to pay these respects knowing all the British soldiers where home safe and sound.
But HOWEVER often it happens I will continue to pay my respects to these people and thier familys and thier friends who faught along side them, I will never do it to make myself look and feel good as I never feel good when this happens.
