Rememberence day

With November 11Th rapidly approaching , It is a must for everybody who has ever had a member of their family , a friend or somebody they know who has been in the armed forces to buy and wear a poppy with pride.
My Brother in law was in the army and served in Northern Ireland and also Iraq the first time round.
My dad's dad was in world war 2 and served behind enemy lines as a person who gathered information as he called it.
It was not something he really talked about apart from one time only and , his wife told me I was privileged as , not even she had been told about some of what he told me that sunny Sunday afternoon in Bournemouth sitting at the dinner table after dinner , having what he called men's time.
To say that he was tortured when he was captured was the least I never saw the marks on his back which he said he still had , a bit faded but , still there and my dad said he had seen them just the once by mistake.
Also Every person in this country and around the world who values the freedom that was won during the years between 1939 and 1945 should also wear a poppy , for many men and women gave their lives so that we could and can live ours today.
or as is said
They gave their today for OUR tomorrow , least we forget
